At CFT , our faith and beliefs are firmly rooted in the Scriptures, which serve as the foundation of everything we do. As a body of believers, we are committed to following the message of the hour and cultivating a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Here’s what we believe, based on Scripture and the teachings we adhere to.
We believe that there is one God, who has revealed Himself throughout history in three personas: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These are not separate beings but manifestations of the same God, just as the Bible teaches.
In Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV), it is written:
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.”
This unity is further clarified by Paul in Ephesians 4:6 (KJV):
“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
We believe that Jesus Christ is the manifested Son of God, the sinless man born of a virgin begotten of the Father and the Holy Spirit. He is the Word made flesh, as described in John 1:14 (KJV): “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.”
Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection serve as the cornerstone of our salvation. We believe that His blood was shed for our sins, and through His sacrifice, we have been redeemed.
Romans 5:8-9 (KJV) reminds us of this truth:
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
We believe that salvation is a gift of grace—it is not something we can earn. It is the grace of God that gives us faith to believe in Jesus Christ. As Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) teaches:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
This salvation is applied to our lives through faith in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, and it leads us to live in righteousness and sanctification.
Following the example set by the apostles, we believe in water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This aligns with the pattern shown throughout the book of Acts, where believers were baptized in the name of Jesus.
As Acts 2:38 (KJV) states:
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Baptism is a public declaration of faith and obedience, marking our new birth experience and our commitment to following Christ.
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the mark of the new birth and empowers believers to live holy lives, filled with the gifts of the Spirit. Jesus promised this gift to His followers, and it was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost as seen in Acts 2:4 (KJV):
“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
The Holy Spirit continues to be active in the church today, guiding us in truth and empowering us to live lives that reflect Christ.
At CFT, we believe that sanctification follows justification. After receiving salvation, we are called to live holy and set-apart lives. This sanctification is a continual process that aligns us more with God’s will and character.
1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV) emphasizes this call:
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit in the church today. These gifts—such as prophecy, healing, and speaking in tongues—are given to edify the body of Christ and are available to every believer who seeks them.
1 Corinthians 12:7 (KJV) declares:
“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.”
We believe that God sent Brother William Branham as a fulfillment of Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7 to restore the true teachings of the Bible. His ministry has helped us return to the pure Word of God and to understand the Message of the Hour that God is speaking to His church today.
Malachi 4:5-6 (KJV) says:
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers.”
This restoration is essential as we prepare for the coming of the Lord, ensuring that we are walking in the light of God's Word.
In line with the teachings of holiness, we uphold biblical standards in how we live and present ourselves. Men and women are called to distinct roles and expressions of modesty and purity. For men, this means keeping hair short and living in modesty, while women wear dresses or skirts, do not cut their hair, and refrain from wearing makeup and jewelry.
1 Timothy 2:9-10 (KJV) reminds us of the importance of modesty:
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”
At CFT, we believe that we are accountable to live the lives we teach about. Parents, pastors, and every believer are called to live in alignment with the Word, knowing that our example shapes the next generation.
As James 1:22 (KJV) instructs:
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
If we instruct our children or others in the ways of the Lord but do not live by those same teachings, it can create confusion and lead others astray. Living a life that reflects what we believe is critical for every Christian.
We also recognize that strong, godly families are central to building a strong faith community. A family of God that walks in the Message of the Hour is one that understands the importance of raising children to respect the church and the Lord, while cultivating personal relationships with Christ. Parents must lead by example, teaching their children to seek God for themselves and ensuring that the whole family isn't merely going through the motions of religion.
A strong marriage—rooted in the love and grace of God—is the foundation of a godly family. Husbands and wives must work together to raise their children in the fear and knowledge of the Lord, as outlined in Proverbs 22:6 (KJV):
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
At CFT, our beliefs are grounded in the timeless truths of Scripture. We believe that God has revealed Himself through His Word, and through the message given to us in this age. We seek to walk in the light of that Word, live holy lives, and guide our families in the way of truth, preparing ourselves for the soon-coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us in this journey of faith and to embrace the call of God in your life today.
Our mission remains to lift up the name of Jesus Christ so that you can know Him in the power of His resurrection.
