Salvation, according to the Bible, comes through faith in Jesus Christ and the grace of God. Every person has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23), and the consequence of sin is death, but God offers the free gift of eternal life through Jesus (Romans 6:23). By believing in Jesus as the Son of God who died for our sins and was raised from the dead, and confessing Him as Lord (Romans 10:9, John 3:16), one is saved. Salvation is not earned by works but is a gift from God, received through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Upon repentance and turning to God, one's sins are forgiven, and they receive the Holy Spirit as a seal of salvation (Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19).
Our services abide by the apostolic order we see in the Bible where they gathered together respectful of the Holy Spirit and sang songs together and worshiped the Lord. Then we preach and teach the Word of God. We keep the sanitary as a reverent place of worship to the Lord. The presence of the Lord encourages us and lifts us up in that atmosphere.
We view the Bible as the pure Word of God that is without contradiction. We follow the Bible, led of the Spirit, as sons and daughters of God.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit is a divine work of God, not something achieved by human effort. When a person believes in Jesus Christ and repents of their sins, God promises to fill them with the Holy Spirit as a gift (Acts 2:38). This filling is a supernatural act where God Himself empowers and indwells His people, guiding them, teaching them, and sealing them for salvation (Ephesians 1:13). Jesus described the Holy Spirit as the Comforter, sent by the Father, who dwells within believers to lead them into all truth (John 14:26). This indwelling is a work of grace, not earned by human merit but freely given to those who place their faith in Christ.
In the New Testament, there was no formal process for joining the church. The church was simply a community where people gathered to learn the Word of God and encounter the Lord. At CFT, our focus isn’t on money, buildings, or programs, but on helping you know Christ personally and grow in your faith. You don’t need to go through any formal membership process—just come as you are, and join us in serving the Lord together.
